HOWL-o-ween!

So it's my first halloween in Logan, and of course it's the biggest party of the year for Utah State...The Howl. Now I'm not really big for dance parties so I wasn't going to go. BUT...I let people talk me into it. All my friends were going and my brother (former aggie himself) loved the howl and said I would have fun.......so I went. . Not Bad ... But not my favorite. Thanks to a good dance show from America's Best Dance Crew, and a Mentalist, it turned out pretty good!

The picture they took at the howl...

Taylor Hillori and I.... we had to stand on the couch to get us all in!

Rachel and I... AKA... Ninja Turtle & Batman!
Rachels sister made her ninja costume....pretty good eh?!

Us being REALLY hot waiting in line for the show. SO many bodies + Dancing +
Costumes = A really HOT building & not so lovely smell :(

Either way, good party or not, halloween is always fun to dress up and be something else for a night, right? =)

My Best Friends Wedding

On October 9th, my best friend was married! Talk about roller coaster of emotions. First, the fact that we are OLD ENOUGH to be getting married was the shock. Then once the reception came around, the shock was that my best friend was the one getting married!
Never the less, the day was great and one I want to remember! I went to all the events with two of my other best friends Kristen and Rachel and we talked about memories for two days straight. It was a blast to look back at all our fun times =)
Congrats McKell & Jake!

Me, Kristen, and Rachel on our way to the temple!

The Bride & Groom!

McKell and I =)

Leaving the temple to go.........

SHOPPING =) Of course! We needed something to do until the reception!

Overall it was such a fun, memorable event. Congrats again Kella ;)

Ready? Here's a big one...

Okay so first off, I am SO behind. I apologize! I've had to much going on lately and honestly just kind of forgot about my blog! I can't believe my last post was FATHERS DAY! So here come many more adventures since then =)
#1.....CALI =)
My family went on a vacation to San Diego for a couple of days and it was a blast!! The trip was way too short of course, but so much fun!

We stayed at the Bahia Resort Hotel. It was right on the beach and such a pretty view!

Sea World!! =) Enough said....everyone knows sea world is fun!

Hunter and I playing on the beach. Just hanging on the beach is so much fun!

Boat ride to........

Parasailing!!!!!!! Funnest thing ever! Still can't believe I did it =)

Blake and Aaron's turn! Aaron recorded while in the air!

#2...... Four Wheeling =)

Every year my family goes on a four wheeling trip with my dads side of the family. We go somewhere different every year and it's always a blast! This year we went to Moab and there are so many trails. We might have to go back there next year. Not enough time to do them all!

Blake and Aaron on one of the easier trails.

Dad and I. My dad puts this trip together every year and does a fantastic job! Thanks!!

#3..... Lake Powell =)

Aaron's family went to Lake Powell this year and invited me along. Brooke stayed home with Paxton (he hates the heat) so I decided to tag along with Aaron. A full week of fun and sun. Can't get much better than that...

I Love the boat rides. I could ride on a boat ALL day!

I'm not a huge skiier or wake boarder....but I do tube! haha

Hunter was hesitant to get on a tube.... He was so worried about his hat falling off!

Once he was on, he LOVED it!

Hunter kept yelling to me "Breanne! Are your glasses still on??" Haha and as you can see...I'm lucky to still have them.

#4...... Summer coming to an end =(
The summer was a blast. I'm soo lucky for the best sister and brother in law in the world to let me come live with them for the summer. I wasn't sure about it when deciding, but it was the best decision I made. It was so much fun. I got so much closer to everyone! Car rides to vacations I usually sat up front with Aaron. We had good chats and a good time watching movies at night!
Brooke and I had some really good chats. We had a goal to go running....the goal didn't work so good, and when we would actually go, we usually ended up walking most of the time because we would be in such good conversation. I grew a lot closer to my sis and I'm so greatful for that!
My nephews are THEE cutest, funnest, most hilarious, sweet boys in the world. Hunter was constantly making me laugh. From wrestling me and pushing me off the couch, to his funny remarks, to water balloons on the tramp, or funny family home evening comments, or getting in trouble for not going to sleep with his funny excuses, to his prayers "bless Breanne can stay a long time"...haha. He is the funnest kid. He is always so fun to play with and his imagination is amazing. The day I was packing to leave he came in my room to "help" and said.."Are you going to grandma's too?" I replied "Yes, I am, but I am staying there when you guys come back." He looked at me with a not so happy face and said "Does that mean summer is over?" I said yes to hear his reply..."Dang it." Haha it brought tears to my eyes thinking about leaving him.
Paxton was 2 months old when I moved out there. And from 2 months to 5 months, he changed a ton! Paxton is the sweetest natured boy! He is just happy to be here I think. He honestly doesn't cry unless he's hungry...the good kid! How he sleeps with all of Hunters noise sometimes, I do not know. I loooved holding him at night till he fell asleep on me, which usually made ME fall asleep as well. He's so sweet. He was constantly growing! He eats so good and is such a healthy boy. I got to be there to hear him start laughing, and HOW CUTE!
Needless to say, I loved every minute of summer in Grand Junction. Thanks Brooke & Aaron!

#5.....Grandma Bandley
My Grandma Bandley has been struggling with Alzheimers (ex the spelling?) for a long time. I don't remember her without memory loss. This summer was a hard one for my mom as she was really going down hill. Two weeks prior to my trip to lake powell, she was put in a nursing home. The home was lovely and a really nice place! My Grandpa would go visit and stay with her all the time. We knew she wasn't doing well, so we made a trip to provo for a couple of days and sort of said our goodbyes. While I was in Lake Powell I got the news that my grandma had passed away. What a bitter sweet feeling. She had been struggling and it was hard to see her like that, and to see my mom see her like that. It was a blessing for her to go be her happy healthy self again, yet such a sad event as well. We got home from Lake Powell Saturday, packed sunday morning, went to sacrament, and were in Provo that night for the viewing. I was so glad I could be there with my mom. My mom is amazing! She handled everything so well and was so strong! The funeral was the next morning and was such a nice day. The family was all strong and the talks were great. My mom gave such a wonderful talk! My grandma looked beautiful and happy. I asked my grandpa how he was and he replied "Good now that she (my grandma) looks like this. She looks SO pretty".....How awesome is that?! My Grandpa is the best!
It was a hard thing, but a good thing. But I'm so greatful for the plan of salvation when we can all be together again!

My beautiful Grandma =)

#......The end! I was planning on ending with my Utah State experience so far, but this post is HUGE! So that will wait for another day. =)

(:Life Is Good :)

Happy Fathers Day! =)

Happy Fathers Day!
How could I not post something up about my wonderful dad?
I have the best dad in the world :)

My dad's famous halloween masks. These masks are the best! I couldn't
count how many times he has scared me with these!

I love doing out door things with my dad.
This is my dad and Grandpa on a 4-wheeling tradition
my dad started. They're so fun!
This is my dad and I at a daddy daughter rockette party. We have so much fun!

Now obviously my dad is no lover of dance...but my dad never missed ONE of
my competitions. He was at every solo competition,
and every team competition. He danced at every popette routine (and
did really well actually) and supported me 100% of the way.
Thanks dad! It means the world to me!
So like I did for mothers day, I'm going to post the
top 10 things about
my dad!

10. When I was little and was in trouble,
it was dad I would run to. He wouldn't get quite
as mad as mom would ;)

9. Dad can fix anything! This comes in handy with
my tendancy to be a clutz...

8. Daddy Daughter Campouts. When i was about 10 or
even younger, we started a little tradition to
go on a fishing campout. Just Dad & I =)

7. Although it took a while for my dad to admit it, he
will always watch american idol, dancing with
the stars, and so you think you can dance with my
mom and I. He's become quite the judge!

6. Nothing beats his steak! He can always grill a great
tasting steak! Mmm!

5. My dad has a love for fishing, hunting and being outdoors.
Although I don't always enjoy these quite as much, I

think it's a great hobbie for him and the guys. It's something
I hope to always have around in my family!

4. Teasing! Dad can tease me, and I can tease him.
Enough said =)

3. My dad loves the gospel. You can always find him learning
about the church. He loves any church book and is a
great example! I'm so glad that he has always been a worthy
priesthood holder for fathers blessings whenver I need!

2. I love my dad's humor. He gets it from HIS dad, and even
though my mom may not appreciate this...I love their
humor! Even if it's a little cruel or "not so mom approved",
I love it! I hope my husband one day has a humor
like my dads =)

1. Number one, and the best of all...he's MY dad. Nobody
could ever replace my amazing daddy.

LOVE YOU DAD!!

Birthdays & Blessings!

Last weekend was quite eventful! Friday was my birthday, and Sunday was Paxton's baby blessing. It started when I woke up on Friday and Brooke had decorated the house all cute with birthday decorations!

Soon after, all the family got here. My whole family came, my aunt, uncle and cousins, my grandma & grandpa Horton, and Aarons parents and two brothers and their families. Needless to say, there were lots of people here! I worked that day and got home around 4 to see all the guys helping Aaron finish their yard. They used to have rock out front and have been putting grass in. With all the guys together, the work flew by and was fun for them too!

In the process...

The final result :)

Aarons brother decided to add a special addition and create a waterfall, too!

After the yard was finished I got to choose where to go for my birthday dinner. I chose Famous Daves...excellent choice if I must say :) we called ahead since there were so many of us, but we got a nice little area to ourselves to have a fun birthday dinner!

They brought me a HUGE plate of ice cream for my birthday dessert. I couldn't help but put this picture on...look at Hunters face. He was in heaven with this big plate of ice cream!

After dinner, we came back to Brooke & Aarons and had a yummy chocolate birthday cake and cookie dough ice cream. Thanks everyone for a good birthday =)

Saturday was a fun hang out day. The guys all went golfing, we went swimming at the hotels, and just hung around having a good time together.

Sunday was Paxton's baby blessing. What a good blessing and fun day to celebrate this cute little guy! =)

Paxton Bradley Birch =)

Aarons brother Bryant blessed their little girl the week before, so we had to get some pictures of the cousins in their blessing outfits!

My family =) Hunter wasn't too thrilled about being taken off the trampoline to take pictures...
Thanks everyone for a fun weekend!!

Change of plans!

Well let me just say that this week has been very eventful!
Monday morning I had a job interview in Logan at 10:00. After that appointment I pretty much had nothing to do the rest of the day. So I thought...
I got home at about noon when my brother in law Aaron called me. He had a great job offer for me to work in his dental office in Colorado working the front desk. They were in need of one asap and this by far is the best job offer for sure. So I couldn't say no...but was thinking I'd have some time to decide right? No. I had to decide then and move.....the next morning. So my day of nothing turned into a crazy busy day! I had to pack everything, get my car inspected, go to dinner with my parents, say bye and I was off the next morning.
I was excited for this...living with my wonderful sister and her cute family all summer :) But it was a hard day for me. Many tears because it was such a quick decision and I was starting to enjoy myself at home. But I knew the change would be great and benefit me a lot! So I was off to Colorado.

Now I've been here for 4 days! So far so good....minus getting lost. I've gotten lost 3 times. Not little lost but major "Am i even in the town anymore?!" sort of lost! But I'll get the hang of it!

The job is going good. It's a very fast paced job and there's always a million things going on. It's been hard to learn but getting better each day.

But the best part is I get to be with Brooke, Aaron and my two adorable nephews every day! When I arrived here my nephew Hunter looked at me, dropped his jaw, and then screamed! Followed by: "SHE'S HERE!" What better welcome than that?! =) So here's a few pictures just for fun.

Hunter, Paxton and I =)

Hunter wore himself out one day, and took a nap on the couch.
He sleeps in the most awkward positions. Does that look comfortable? Haha what
a funny kid!

Paxton is such a good baby! He sleeps through anything and only really crieswhen he needs something. I love snuggling up with him!

This was definately not exactly what I planned for summer, but it will all work out great. I'm excited!
Oh! And.....I got offered a job teaching dance which I had to leave. But, they are going to have me in the fall. So I can still teach dance when I get back, which I am very excited for. Things are working out =)

10. She's MY mom!

My mom is the best supporter! This is at my solo competition my senior year. She (or my family) never missed a competition..team or solo. She was there 100% of the time cheering me on! She always lifts me up and supports me with my love of dance!

My mom and I at the American Idol top ten concert! We love watching Idol!

I LOVE YOU MOM =)

Birthday Lunch!

Saturday was my best friend McKell's birthday =) Kell and I have been best friends for SO long as well as our friend Kristen. So on our birthdays we like to get together and go to lunch! So for Kells birthday she chose to go to BC chicken...total in the dumps area next to a creepy hotel....way scary looking, but such good food! We had such a good time! It's always a fun time getting the 3 of us together. So many memories and laughs! I love these girls.
Happy Birthday McKell! <3

The 3. **BMK** forever!

We can be such dorks!! But dorks make for a good time =)

Yeah, we're random and love pictures, but I thought it was clever!

Love you Kell!

Home for a while!

Well, I'm all moved home but I can't exactly say for how long. My original plan was to come home, get a job, and stay here till fall when I can move up to Logan. Well the getting a job part has become harder than I thought :( Meaning...I'm still jobless. I've looked in Brigham and in logan, and still searching for a good one! This has left me lots of options of where to stay...brigham, logan, Colorado..? Many decisions. But as for now...I'm home =) I won't lie, it's been a little boring and kind of hard coming back to a smaller town with no job, a change in the social life, boy situations, college decisions and all of that fun stuff... But none the less it's good to be home!
A little bit of a boring post...no pictures...no fun...but just an update, sorry! Hopefully things will pick up soon and be back to normal =)

Sunshine!

I LOVE THE SUN!
The sun is finally starting to come out and McKell and I had to take advantage of it one day. We decided to go to our pool at our apartment and lay outside. Doing all this then made us want a bbq......summer fever I guess! So Kell and I just had a summer day. So fun. I can't wait for summer!

And speaking of summer... I'm moving back to Brigham for the summer and I move in 5 days! I have very mixed feelings about this, but am excited to be home for a while =)

Laying out for the first time this year. Felt great =)

=)

This was our way of being able to bbq. Gotta love the G.F grill!

I just love the summer feeling.
Summer here I come!

Paxton =)

I'm in need of an updating so here comes a lot!
Over easter weekend I was finally able to go meet my new nephew Paxton Bradley Birch =) He is such a cutie! It was so fun to spend Brooke's birthday and Easter with my family!

PAXTON BRADLEY

I got a lot of time to spend playing with Hunter. He sure loves his dinosaur and horse costumes... He's so fun to play with!

I learned that holding a new born makes for a hard time staying awake!

We may have played too hard....naps were needed!

I have the two cutest nephews in the world =)
