Farewells

This weekend was quite eventful...with the two farewells of two of my greatest friends Taylor and Chance. I've been friends with Taylor since 6th grade and our senior year was by far the best. We grew SO close. I consider him a TRUE best friend.

Taylors talk was about influences and he talked a lot about his friends and the influences your friends have. Taylor is a great influence to everyone so as I said bye to these boys so many memories came back and I wanted to write some down!

(Like I say many times...this is a journal to me and I never wrote down these days.. so this is for my sake :) )
So...here go some memories.

Taylor took me four wheeling on the last day of school our senior year. We went up as far as we could till we hit snow and then we played in the snow and talked. It was a really good time we had to get to know some things about each other!

We went on a senior trip to lake powell. Chance is kind of a shy type of personality and he really came out of his shell here a lot. So fun!

Another Lake Powell picture-Tay and I. This was on a hike that was so much fun. We had to walk through so many bushes and trails that weren't really trails...but it was hilarious and so much fun!

This was New Years Eve 2008. David Chance and Taylor were my 3 amigos that year!

Purple and White! Best High School dance!
No more needs to be said...i know I wont forget this one.

Taylor always took me jeepin. My favorite thing to do was ride in his jeep!

HAHA! We played hide and seek around the town one night. Taylor stepped in a ditch running full speed and face planted it...right onto main street! This was his accident... SO funny though!

Taylor came to visit me in Orem and we went out to eat with a bunch of high school friends. Taylor hates the Orem/Provo atmosphere, but it was still nice of him to come give it a try!

Saying Bye ..
Best of luck Chance!

Best of luck Tay!

The people in Brazil need these boys. They will be missed =)

One of those weeks!

Well, Let me start off by saying it's just been "one of those weeks". I came back from Christmas break and had a week left of my old class at school, with lots of labs and a final state test (to determine if I graduate my Aide Program and get my certificate) while at the same time i was beginning my first week at UVU with new classes and the stress that comes with them. Along with all this going on, I have two roomates who are VERY loud and there's not really anything I can do about it. Therefore, I havent got much sleep. So...this last week was very stressful.

Friday came which I was excited and nervous for. I had no UVU classes which was a relief, but I had my state test. You needed 80% to pass...and i got 91.4% =)
So I think this day is going to be a great one!
Well...wrong. I went to work and my schedule has changed. I normally work every day mon-fri. now they only need me every other day. Which cuts back about 14 hours a week and that's way too much money to lose!

So....back to the bad day/week. At this point I just want to go sleep forever. Oh but wait....I can't ever sleep here! I'm so frustrated when I get home from work Friday. So I sit down to eat and the doorbell rang. My first thought it "Great..my roomates loud friends." But instead, it was Jason. He knew I was having a bad week so he came to take me home for the weekend. YAY! So I got to spend the weekend with Jason and with my parents at my house where I could actually get some very much needed rest!

What a relief! Nothing is as good as Home to make your week better. Thanks Jas!! =)

cute?... =)

So during this Christmas break I got to be with Jason a lot. One night we were looking through a bunch of Jason's mission pictures. While we were looking at some we realized that his computer program makes videos. so....we couldn't help but try it out :) This may be cheesy but I sure like it. We even put it to our favorite song. I don't know about you but I sure think it's cute! See for yourself....
p.s. it really goes in order from our first date

The 10 (minus 3)

During the Christmas break we decided to get the 10 Senior Rockettes together again and go to dinner. We went to Chili's and ate and caught up on each others life =) It was really fun. 3 of them couldn't make it but 7 of 10 isn't too bad!

Christmas Morning

This is always a great morning! Blake and I woke up at about 8:00 and woke up our parents. We looked a moment outside first at all the SNOW! It snowed a ton which always makes Christmas just that much better :) Here's some pictures of Christmas morning..

Almost Christmas!

The weekend before Christmas we headed off to Grand Junction to go have a little Christmas with Brooke and Aaron. We all exchanged our gifts and played around in GJ. It was so much fun to have our own little pre christmas :)

The first thing Hunter wanted to do was play "parade" with Grandma and Papa!
Hunter got a bike and a cool water bottle came with it which he loved.

We went on a "limo" (AKA pimped out expedition) ride to look at Christmas lights. Hunter loved holding his cool glass of water and looking out the window at the lights!
